Quantitative LC-MS analyzis of therapeutic proteins in biological matrices
We make the most of our advanced UPLC-MS systems for the quantitative analyzis of therapeutic proteins such as monoclonal and bispecific antibodies in biological matrices. After sample purification and tryptic digestion, qualitative experiments are performed by using a high-resolution orbitrap mass spectrometer (Q-Exactive) to select the best targets for protein quantification. Subsequently, we often use a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (XEVO-TQS) to quantify the peptide targets, allowing a 10-100 ng/ml LOQ using only 10 µl sample volume. Using microflow LC-MS analyzis, we can obtain even lower LOQs.
We also perform quantitative bioanalyzis of small and large intact proteins using these state-of-the-art UPLC-MS systems.
GC-sniff for identification of off-flavors in food
Food products may acquire an off-odor or off-taste due to chemical or microbial changes in the food product or through the introduction of contaminants. Such an off-taste is often caused by a single component with a very low odor or taste threshold. By using GC coupled with a sniff port and/or MS, we can quickly identify the component(s) that are the cause of the off-flavor .
Element analysis with HR-ICP-MS
We use High Resolution ICP-MS for all element analyzes. This allows accurate, high-throughput analysis of trace elements in infant nutrition as well as ppt-level analysis, for example, of different isotopes of the same element in samples from in-vivo or in-vitro studies.
